The future of our website:

From Chris Morris, Webmaster:

As Shaldon parish moves towards the Haldon Mission Community, our website ( will eventually become incorporated into the Haldon website.
The message below, from Rev Carol Green, the new Priest in charge, explains how this is being planned for and asks for your help in the process.
Do please complete the online survey to have your say.

From Rev Carol Green:

Our website has become a central part of our communication with the world from village to town to Diocese and beyond. For many people an organisation’s website is the first port of call to see what their ethos is, how friendly and approachable they are and whether it is a place you would want to go. It is as important as a friendly greeting when you come to church. The website is a place to pick up information, see service times and watch services.

Our church organisations are going through changes at present as our Mission Community is being reshaped to include Shaldon and Ringmore. Together with a recent technical failure of the Haldon Mission Community website we want to take this opportunity to rethink. Can our website more closely follow the Diocesan call to us to Grow in prayer, make new disciples and serve the people of Devon with joy?

We need your input to make sure we can make the website the best it can be – user friendly and easily navigable. This survey will take no more than 5 minutes but will be invaluable to us.

Blessings and Thanks

Carol Green
